What's New in Mapped
Abstract
This update gives you more control over what goes out. We’ve also changed how Mapped finds connections, rebuilt the email template editor, and added a view of your daily outreach activity.
Better reasons to reach out
A shared language other than English can now count as a connection. We’ve improved how we recognize different names for the same university and stopped treating routine analyst skills as a reason two people should know each other.
People also has cleaner firm names, roles and locations, with executives hidden by default. Filters recognize more name variants, your selections stay put when you change filters, and Top N picks from people you haven’t contacted yet.
Write your own template
On Pro, you can now write the subject and body directly in the template editor. Insert names and other profile details, add text that appears only when a condition is met, and include up to three AI parts with their own instructions.
Preview it with someone from your People list before saving. After you save, you can apply the new template to unsent drafts you haven’t edited by hand. Our default template is still there if you want a starting point.
More control before and after sending
Save a batch to Drafts and come back later. You can edit an email right in the reading pane, remove a recipient or resume attachment during review, and schedule one email separately from its batch. Scheduling now includes a final confirmation.
In the Outbox, select scheduled emails to cancel them or move them back to Drafts for editing. Cancelled emails can be rescheduled without using another draft credit. Older messages load as you scroll, while the email you’re reading stays in view.
If an email bounces in Gmail, you can mark it as bounced yourself, correct the address, and send it again. The old address is blocked from future sends.
See your activity, tidy your meetings
Analytics now has a daily activity heatmap and a Leads, Sent and Replied funnel. You can see when you’ve been reaching out. Reply counts appear when your connected inbox lets Mapped read them.
The redesigned meeting details view puts the time, notes and thank-you email together. You can remove cancelled or finished meetings from your list. Your notes and Pipeline history stay; any unsent thank-you email is removed with the meeting.
