Candidate-side personal networking
Use mapped only as an individual candidate for lawful, one-to-one professional networking and relationship management. You are responsible for what you send and for following applicable law and provider rules.
Prohibited campaigns and decisions
Do not use mapped for marketing, sales, lead generation, affiliate promotion, fundraising, employer or recruiting-agency campaigns, employment screening, candidate scoring, eligibility or hiring decisions, adverse action, purchased lists, or another commercial or promotional campaign.
Contacting people
Contact one person for a legitimate personal professional-networking reason. Use addresses obtained from lawful, appropriate sources, and stop when someone asks not to be contacted.
- Do not buy, rent, scrape, harvest, or guess addresses.
- Do not send spam, bulk messages, or repeated unwanted messages.
- Do not evade opt-outs, complaints, refusals, suppression decisions, or provider blocks.
- Do not conceal a commercial, promotional, recruiting-agency, or employer purpose as personal networking.
Be honest
Represent yourself, your affiliation, and your purpose accurately. Do not impersonate anyone, invent credentials or relationships, or use deceptive sender details, subject lines, or content.
Protected traits and harmful content
Do not use mapped to infer a protected trait or to discriminate. Harassment, threats, hate, exploitation, phishing, malware, fraud, credential theft, surveillance, and unauthorized access are prohibited.
Limits and access
Do not bypass sending limits, access controls, or security measures. Do not use scripts, bots, multiple accounts, altered identifiers, or another person to evade a restriction.
Enforcement
mapped may restrict or end access for suspected misuse. Contact support@operator.invalid to report abuse or ask a policy question.
