Categories and sources
We collect information you provide, information created when you use mapped, information from services you connect, and professional information obtained or derived from approved directory and contact-data sources.
- Account and identity data, including email address, consent choices, sign-in activity, and security records.
- Resume, profile, preference, narrative, employment, education, location, and other professional information.
- Searches, professional contacts, notes, drafts, messages, replies, reminders, meetings, and outcomes.
- Connected email and calendar content, provider identifiers, permissions, connection status, and protected access credentials.
- Professional-directory facts, images, relationship signals, inferred affiliations, contact addresses, and source or verification evidence.
- AI inputs and outputs, billing and subscription records, device and browser data, cookies, logs, and backup records.
People without an account
Professional-directory information can concern people who do not have a mapped account. It may come from owner-approved datasets, public professional sources, service providers, users, or derived relationships. Directory-subject notice, source-rights review, correction, deletion, and appeal workflows remain incomplete and block public production.
Purposes
We use information to provide and secure mapped; verify accounts; process resumes and profiles; support directory search and personal networking; generate and review AI-assisted suggestions; send user-approved messages; monitor replies; manage meetings; administer subscriptions; provide support; prevent misuse; maintain records; and comply with law.
AI and connected services
Resume, profile, directory, writing, message, or meeting information may be sent to an approved AI or connected-service provider when a feature requires it. Google and Microsoft permissions can allow sending and reading mail and viewing or managing calendar events. The exact content depends on the feature and action. Provider approvals, contracts, retention, and deletion evidence remain launch blockers.
Recipients
We disclose information to service providers and connected services only for an approved purpose, to people you choose to contact, in a transaction involving Mapped Labs, Inc., or when required to comply with law or protect rights and safety.
- Hosting, storage, security, AI, communications, contact-data, analytics, and support providers.
- Google, Microsoft, and other services you choose to connect.
- Stripe and related payment, tax, fraud, and financial-service providers when billing is enabled.
- Message recipients, event attendees, professional-directory users, authorities, and transaction counterparties where applicable.
Sensitive information
Religious, political or civic, union, identity, cultural, community, language, and similar affiliation data can reveal or proxy sensitive traits. Those fields and inferences are not approved for public production. Launch requires disabling them or completing necessity, impact-assessment, purpose-specific consent, withdrawal, correction, and deletion requirements. General Terms acceptance is not sensitive-data consent.
Retention and account controls
We keep information only for an approved business or legal purpose and delete, deidentify, or restrict it under the applicable schedule. The final class-by-class retention periods, backup treatment, and provider deletion rules are still pending owner and counsel approval. You can edit profile information, manage connections, download available account data, or start account deletion from account settings. Deletion cannot remove copies held independently by recipients or other third parties.
Privacy rights and appeals
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to access or know, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal information; appeal a denied request; use an authorized agent; or make choices about sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or sensitive information. The launch-state matrix, verified public intake for account holders and directory subjects, deadlines, appeals, and provider propagation are not complete and block public production. State choices and Global Privacy Control
The determination of whether any production activity is a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising activity under an applicable state law remains pending. Global Privacy Control handling will be enabled where it maps to an approved choice. We do not claim that an opt-out is available or unnecessary until the state matrix and production data flows are approved.
Security, children, and changes
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security. mapped is for U.S. residents age 18 or older and is not intended for children. We may update this notice as the service or legal requirements change and will provide notice or request renewed consent when required.
